For this very small village, a different format was tried out – a ‘walk and talk’, going to various parts of the area of Dunnet Head, from the lighthouse on the headland itself with its spectacular views over the Pentland Firth to a look at a ‘Picts’ hoose’ and the question of its origins. Howie Firth explored the landscape and shared ideas, and around a dozen people joined in at various stages. The event was hosted by Dunnet Head Educational Trust.
